NEW MEMBERS:
Visitors and potential new members may visit MAR up to three times (three, one-day visits) before being required to make application for membership. Application for membership must be made and appropriate fees paid before additional visits are allowed. Any Grounds Fees paid in 2008 will be applied toward a membership, if application is made within 90 days of the first visit.
BACHELOR VISITOR CARD:
Single Men who are not members of AANR or guest of a current Member, must purchase a non-refundable Bachelor Visit Card. This card allows three one-day visits within 90 days by the cardholder and a woman guest. All visits by unaccompanied men must be scheduled through the office. If application is made within 90 days of first visit, the amount of the Bachelor Card will be deducted from membership dues.
GUEST:
Members may invite guest(s) to MAR. The initial visit of any guest will be at no charge. A guest is defined as a single person or male\female couple. The Member responsible for the guest(s) must be present on the grounds and sign-in the guest(s) at the office.
INITIATION FEE:
A one-time initiation fee for all new memberships will be charged at time of application. This fee or any outstanding assessments will also be charged to any member who allows their membership to lapse more than 30 days.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS:
The first five visits will not require paying additional grounds fees. Associate Members will be required to pay the applicable grounds fees after exceeding five visits. Associate Members may attend all events, receive the MAR Newsletter, but will not have voting or seasonal campsite privileges. Associate Members must arrive during normal office hours, unless previous arrangements are made.
FULL MEMBERSHIP:
Full Members have the right to vote, participate on committees, rent seasonal campsites, receive discounts on certain events, receive MAR Newsletter, and have access to MAR at any time.
FAMILIES:
MAR is a family oriented nudist resort. In efforts to promote a family atmosphere, couple will be defined as 1 male & 1 female. Single male memberships are maintained at a rate no greater than 30% of total membership at any time.
RENTAL UNITS:
Ponderosa includes kitchen, bathroom, shower, utensils, and cleaning supplies. Towels, linens, and blankets are provided with all rentals. Room #1 in the Lodge has a private bath. The other rooms in the Lodge share a bathroom and kitchen. First night's rent is required as a non-refundable deposit. Pets are not permitted in rental units. Rental fees are based upon double occupancy and do not include required grounds fees. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. and check-in is 3:00 p.m.
